Crock Pot Roast that makes it's own gravy

Ingredients

• 3 pounds beef roast (I like Sirloin tip)
• Pepper to taste
• 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 1/2 cup water

We froze this recipe but cooked it in the oven because we didn't have time for the crockpot. It was super delicious. It's good in the crockpot too.
